Mike began his law career with Stamper Rubens, P.S. in 1994. With a focus on litigation, Mike’s practice emphasizes all aspects of employment law, including trade secret violations, discrimination claims, and violations of non-compete or non-solicitation agreements, as well as various types of commercial and business litigation. Mike is a forceful, yet careful and conscientious litigator, who strives to vigorously pursue his clients’ interests while balancing the need for a timely and cost-conscious resolution to the case.
Mike is admitted to practice before all Washington state courts, the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mike is very active in the Spokane community as general counsel for the Spokane Home Builders Association and Vice President Elect of Spokane Rotary Club #21. He is also the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for the Spokane Jazz Society, and the Chair of the Planning and Mission Development Committee of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest.
